Maria A. Tuason – Associate
 
Maria Tuason joined Peterson · Bradford · Burkwitz in 2010, where her practice specializations are medical malpractice and employment law.  Previously, she was involved in insurance defense litigation with emphasis on wrongful death, catastrophic injury, employment law, building construction defects, and general tort law.    

She is active in all phases of trial preparation, including case management, written discovery, research and analysis, witness depositions, preparation and argument of motions, and settlement negotiations.   She also works directly with clients to establish case strategy.

Ms. Tuason became a member of the California State Bar Association in 2008.

In 2002, Ms. Tuason received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.  She earned her Juris Doctor in 2007 from Whittier Law School, where she was also an active member of the Public Interest Law Foundation.
