Terri Hilliard Olson – Of Counsel
 
Terri Hilliard Olson became affiliated with Peterson · Bradford · Burkwitz in 2009 to add to the firm’s practice areas involving advanced estate and business succession planning, asset protection, special needs trusts, family protection planning, and general business formation and facilitation.  She is also a private mediator for the community and specializes in helping families, elders, individuals and businesses resolve disputes. She began her law career in 1989, following a successful business career as an Investment Advisor for families and entertainment clients.  With nearly 20 years of business, insurance and civil litigation experience in highly contested matters throughout the Southern California area, she founded her own estate planning law firm Terri Hilliard, PC in 2007 in Westlake Village, CA, which she continues to operate.

Ms. Hilliard Olson graduated from Loyola Law School in 1989, where she was a contributing author of the Loyola Entertainment Law Journal.  As a mediator, she trained at The Straus Institute, Pepperdine School of Law and Loyola Law School.  She is a court-approved Mediator and is on the Los Angeles Court civil and probate panels.

She is an admitted member of all California State and Federal Courts, the California State Bar Association, Southern California Mediation Association, Eldercare Mediators, the Ventura County Bar Association, Estates section, and Wealth Counsel.
