Darren V. Pang joined Peterson · Bradford · Burkwitz in 2016. His primary areas of practice include medical malpractice and employment law defending employers and public entities. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pang clerked at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office in the Intellectual Property Department and worked for a boutique litigation firm handling a wide variety of litigation matters. Mr. Pang has litigated a variety of cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and professional negligence. His experience covers all aspects of civil case management, including discovery, depositions, law and motion, court appearances, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Mr. Pang graduated from the College of Charleston with Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Physics. While earning his Bachelor’s degrees, Mr. Pang also worked as a general manager for a major retailer, where he first experienced the intricacies of employment law from an employer’s perspective. In 2012, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Arizona Summit, where he was the co-founder and President of the law school’s intellectual property organization, served as President of Delta Theta Phi, and won several academic awards.
Mr. Pang was admitted to the California State Bar Association in 2013 and is licensed to practice before all courts in the state and before the United States District Court for the Central District.
