Sohin Gautam joined Peterson · Bradford · Burkwitz in 2021. He defends public entities against employment and civil rights claims, and he also defends medical professionals and organizations against professional negligence claims in administrative and civil actions.
Prior to joining Peterson · Bradford · Burkwitz, Mr. Gautam worked for a boutique litigation firm in Beverly Hills where he represented businesses from the textile, garment, jewelry, and technology industries in various matters including but not limited to defending said businesses in commercial disputes and civil actions.
Mr. Gautam graduated from Southwestern Law School, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Award and Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While at Southwestern, Mr. Gautam was a Notes & Comments Editor of the Southwestern Journal of International Law, and he earned a CALI award. Furthermore, Mr. Gautam had an article published by the Southwestern Journal of International Law regarding the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Mr. Gautam graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Geography. While at Kentucky, Mr. Gautam was a member of the debate team and was a quarterfinalist of the 2010 National Debate Tournament.
Mr. Gautam was admitted to the California State Bar in 2020, and he may practice before all courts in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
